3 DAYSPADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba equipment including a dive computer, and standard accessories. The equipment you wear varies somewhat, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, temperate or cold water.
As a certified Open Water Diver you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. If you already tried a Discover Scuba Diving experience or are Scuba Diver certified, check with us to see how credit from these courses may apply to the open water program. This course offers tremendous flexibility and lets you work out individual needs with your instructor.

Day 1 :
- Pickup from your Hotel at 7am (7:30am from Sanur)
- Transfer to Bali Diving
- Morning – Dive Theory modules 1, 2, 3 & Video 4 (just refresher for e learning users)
- Lunch
- Equipment Fitting
- Afternoon – Pool Training Sessions 1 to 5
- Debriefing at the Dive Centre
- Drop off at your hotel
Day 2 :
- Pickup from your Hotel at 7am (7:30am for Sanur)
- Transfer to Bali Diving
- Equipment check & packing
- Travel to Padang Bai
- Dive #1 Blue Lagoon
- Surface interval for degassing, swimming & relaxing
- Dive # 2 Jepun
- Lunch at the beachside café – log dives
- Return to Bali Diving for debriefing
- Theory sessions 4 & 5 and Final Exam
- Drop off at your Hotel
Day 3 :
- Pickup from your Hotel at 7am (7:30am for Sanur)
- Transfer to Bali Diving
- Travel to Tulamben Dive Site – shipwreck of the USAT Liberty
- Dive #1 (Shore Dive on the wreck)
- Lunch at the beachside café
- Dive # 2 – site varies at Tulamben
- Return to Bali Diving for debriefing
- Certification & Final paperwork
- Drop off at your Hotel

It was such a great experience to take my Open Water PADI License with Bali Diving. My instructor Ferry was extremely helpful and professional, he was able to teach me all the necessary diving skills with ease. My first time diving at the Blue Lagoon with instructor Ferry, I was fortunate enough to see a sleeping shark, moray eel, lobster, sea snails and octopus. I would definitely take more diving trips with Bali Diving.
